Communication
In today's world, contemporary societies insist on an exacerbated acceleration of daily life, and the Performing Arts are absorbed by production systems that empty the space for experimentation—the space for simply being.
This gathering proposes a break from the paradigmatic working system of the performing arts. We seek to rediscover and transform the idea of work into an idea of encounter. To look into each other’s eyes, to journey together through biographical territories, through fear, intimacy, desire, and practices of emotional liberation.
Amid crossed gazes, interpretations, and inner conversations, questions emerge about the triangulation of communication and the sensitivity of listening beyond merely hearing. We set out with the urge to skydive, to scream—almost as an act of letting go, of surrendering—or perhaps as an act of touching (the) ground.
A framework is proposed, based on the idea of play/conversation, and for each gathering, we invite two people to join us. Through questions and shared experiences, we aim to create a space where the simplicity of an encounter reveals the complexity of our identities. We mark the stage as a boarding zone—a space of transformation and vulnerability.
